Results and Improvement,
for the player you actually are.
Group and Individual Shooting, Dribbling and Passing Clinics with Derick Zacharie. Intense workouts, detailed and customed to the player’s abilities.
The Problem
You are working. It is not moving.
You put in the hours. You have done the ladders, the cones, the packages you saw online. You still get walled off at the elbow, still lose the handle when the space closes, still take the shot you did not want.
Here is the usual reason: the thing you complain about is a symptom, and the thing that fixes it sits one layer underneath. You will not find that layer in a template hour built for everybody in the gym.
Somebody has to actually watch you play first.
The System
Four steps. Inputs in, outputs out.
Nothing proprietary and no secret drill. Just an hour built for you, run at a pace that demands something, measured so we both know whether it paid.
- 01
Read the athlete
Twenty minutes of watching before a single drill is written. Your handle under fatigue, your feet on a live ball, your shoulders on a contested shot.
- 02
Attack the real gap
Intense workouts, detailed and customed to the player's abilities. Not the drill you like — the one that is costing you minutes.
- 03
Prove it under pressure
Group clinics put a defender and an audience on the skill you just built. Ideal conditions do not count.
- 04
Re-test, then repeat
Numbers at the start of a block, numbers at the end. If nothing moved, the block was wrong — and that is on me.
Founding Clients
Be My Next
Success Story
Two years in, out of Texas, and still small on purpose. That means when you train with me you get the version of this business where I know your name, your gaps, your numbers, and exactly where you were last month.
Founding clients get more of me — direct access, sessions built around your abilities instead of a template, and a coach who is personally invested in proving this method works. That is not a forever offer. It is what right now looks like.
Client results are coming soon — I’d rather show you real ones than made-up ones.
Compounding Returns
What consistent inputs actually buy you
Improvement is not a hope, it is a schedule. Every honest hour is a deposit, and the deposits compound.
Separation
Get downhill clean instead of settling for a bad shot.
Repeatable shot
Form that survives the fourth quarter, not just the warmup.
Live handle
Ball security when the space closes and the pace lifts.
Measured gain
Tested at the start of a block and again at the end.
How It Works
Three moves to your first session

The Coach
“My friend came and asked me to train his son. Son did well.”
Derick Zacharie, founder
That is the whole origin story, and it has never needed dressing up. One favor, one hour of actually watching a kid play, and a method that has not changed in two years of building this out of Texas.

The two questions everybody asks
- Will this transfer to my sport?
- Only if the training is shaped like the game, so that is how it is built. Live-ball reads, game-speed reps from real spots, and reactive work against a defender rather than a cone. If a drill cannot be traced back to something that happens to you on a Friday night, I do not run it.
- Will it interfere with my season?
- Not if the calendar is respected. In-season we cut volume, keep intensity, and protect your legs — two short sessions a week beats four long ones. Off-season is when we build. Anybody running you into the ground in week ten of your season is filling an hour, not coaching you.
- Individual or group — which do I need?
- Most athletes need both. Individual work is where we find and fix your specific gap. Group clinics are where you have to do it with somebody in your face. They are different tools, not a premium and a budget version.
- How old are the athletes you train?
- Youth through collegiate and adult players. The method does not change with age — the loading and the volume do.
